Coolest/Oddest Musical Experience: While I was at Basic Combative Training for the Army, I was given the opportunity to play with a choir for trainees during Hispanic Religious Services. It was really emotional because it was the weekend before graduation, but exciting at the same time because it was the first time in 10 weeks I got to play my trumpet
If you could create music with another musician (local, famous, dead/alive), who would it be and why? I would love to create music with Laufey, because her voice compliments the trumpet very well

What is your favorite random fact (NOT something about you)? While listening to music, your heart can sync to the beat
Why do you think it's important to teach the younger generation music? I think it’s important because it exposes them to different cultures and it’s an efficient way to express their emotions. Not only that, but it helps them develop skills working with other people and builds discipline
What is the most unexpected thing you have learned while studying music? 
I've learned to embrace failure. I’ve had more failures than I’ve had successes, but it’s given me more of a reason to keep working hard. It’s also allowed me to face my weaknesses, instead of just working on the things I’m already good at
