If you could create music with another musician (local, famous, dead/alive), who would it be and why? Doc Severinson. This guy is wild; his whole life sounds like a movie & I would absolutely love to meet the star. He does both jazz & classical music, works out every day (& he's 96!), performed until age 94, has a grammy-winning record, & played with the Tonight Show band for a collective 38 years. Not only does he have an incredible amount of experience & talent, but he would have endless stories to tell.
What is the one thing that instantly makes your day better?
COFFEE!! & my cat Luna
What is your favorite random fact (NOT something about you)?
Female praying mantises often eat the male after mating (girl power)
Why do you think it's important to teach the younger generation music?
Music is an incredibly important part of history & is a wonderful way to express yourself! It shouldn't get lost to any generation
What is the most unexpected thing you have learned while studying music?
That everybody loves music in a different way. Every music lover has their own personal connection with music & their instrument. It's really fulfilling to watch others & myself grow in & into that connection
